Its central location in the heart of Opatija allows you to swim on the public beach which is approx. 100m away, walk in the Sveti Jakov park just across, window shop on the Marshall Tito street beneath or join the littoral walk a few meters away. One of the most reputed bakeries in the region (Austro-Hungarian heritage) occupies the terrace on the hotel ground level.

Built in 1885, the hotel Impérial is an institution. Everything evokes the rich hours of the Hapsburg Empire: a restaurant room worthy of a palace, beautiful stained glass, high ceilings in rooms. Yet the hotel is not a Parisian palace but a very good 2** , bathing is the nostalgia of a gone time. Its rooms have simple comfort with bathroom equipped with bath, hair dryer and toilet, a desk, TV scree with satellite channels and direct telephone (no AC).

Avec l'hôtel Palace-Bellevue, l'Impérial est un très bel hôtel rappelant l'époque fastueuse d'Opatija.
Ce fut l'un des tout premiers
hôtels construits par les Habsbourg en 1885.
Aujourd'hui encore, même si une rénovation intégrale ne serait pas superflue, on peut encore
apprécier l'atmosphère particulière de cet hôtel et notamment sa salle de restaurant digne d'un palais impérial.
N'oubliez pas de faire un
tour à la patisserie de l'hôtel, les douceurs proposées vous rappeleront celles de Vienne, Prague ou Budapest.
