Hotel

The hotel dominates the small port of Opatija, a couple tens of meters from the botanical garden of the Villa Angiolina, emblematic and historical site where tourism began in 1844 on the Croatian coast.i

Grand Hotel is made of many parts: the Villa Camellia, the Villa Wisteria, the Villa Magnolia and the Villa Melia form the old and charming part of the complex. From 1880 the first guests were greeted. You can easily distinguish these villas with their colorful facades (yellow, salmon, red) and their remarkable architecture. These villas give onto the commercial artery of Opatija on one side and the Adriatic sea on the other. Just beneath, separated by a very calm little street, is the main part of the complex where the majority of the rooms are.

Entirely renovated and air conditioned, the rooms are equipped with satellite television, telephone, possible Internet access, mini bar, safe, office, bathroom with shower or bath, hair dryer and toilet. The hotel does not makes distinctions, when you reserve, in between rooms in the villas and those in the modern buildings.

Parking. Indoor/outdoor pool, Finish sauna, Turkish bath, hydromassages, jacuzzi, fitness room, solarium/relaxation room, beauty salon, massage salon. An impressive list of body and face treatments, massages, sauna are offered. Other than the pools all services are extra.

At your disposal

Main restaurant "Camellia" buffet style and show cooking, lobby bar "Agava", bar "Oleandar" gives onto the terrace with a very beautiful panorama on the Kvarner bay and musical animation some nights. On the ground floor of the Villa Camellia us the "Grand Café" open since 1898 in the tradition Viennese cafés. Parking (14€/d).
