In est Mostar right next to the historical old bridge which is accessible by foot in a few minutes.

Built in 1875 this authentic Ottoman house in Istanbul style built by the pasha of Mostar and still occupied by his descendants;

Classified national Bosnian heritage and renovated by the Aga Kahn foundation, the house organizes organized visit days. On each level a big Turkish living room (The couch) with beautiful characteristic windows that allow you to go back in time to the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century.

The rooms: 10 rooms (in the main house called Haremluk and annex called Selamluk) with paneling and decoration objects of Ottoman times and types of bed: big Occidental style or twin the Turkish way.

Each room is unique and possess all modern comfort: satellite tv, internet wifi, AC, bathroom with shower and WC. The two suites (40m²) are on the 3rd and last floor of the main house.

At your disposal

A very pleasant patio (the avlija) protected from the street by high whitened walls enabling you to relax totally.
The floor is made of small pebble put together in a sort of mosaic with beds of roses, jasmine and palm trees.
A pleasant table shaded by kiwi leaves is accessible to visitors and clients.

Parking possible in front of the house. A map will be given to you in your trip booklet.

Nous adorons cette maison : dès que l'on entre dans la cour, on est transporté au temps des pachas de l'empire ottoman. Les chambres sont toutes
uniques, certaines avec du mobilier authentique, des objets originaux.
L'accueil par le maître de maison est chaleureux. Certes, il ne parle
que bosniaque et espagnol et quelques mots d'anglais mais il arrive à transmettre la beauté et l'histoire de cette maison.
Profitez de cette
maison pour une vraie étape en Herzégovine : Mostar bien sûr mais vous pouvez aussi visiter la petite cité de Blagaj à 9km au sud et son superbe
tekke, arpenter la belle cité de Pocitelj au bord de la Neretva à quelques km de la frontière croate, faire un pélérinage à Medjugorje ou même
visiter dans la journée Sarajevo (env 2h-2h30).
Séjourner dans cette maison est inoubliable.
