D1 : flight Paris/Tirana - visit of Tirana - night Tirana  (17km)
Tour of Tirana by bus with the Skanderberg place (beneath), the "Bulevard" which groups every institution of the country and a visit of the National History Museum.

D2 : Tirana - visit of Berat - night Berat (178km)
Guided tour of Berat UNESCO global heritage classified (Mangalem neighborhood with entry to the Mosque of Kings and Mosque of lead) and of the citadel with entry to the Onufri National Museum with its superb icons.

D3 : Berat - Tepelena - visit of Gjirokastër - night Gjirokastër (150km)
Guided tour of the native city of the dictator Enver Hoxha and the writter Ismaël Kadare. Classified by UNESCO and during the communist times, Gjirokastër is a rare example of a preserved Ottoman city.
Entry to the citadel is included with its Museum of Arms, to the Ethnographic Museum (in Enver Hoxha's family house) and an crafts center.

D4 : Gjirokastër - Blue Eye (Syri i Kalter) - visit of Butrint - night Saranda (60km)
Stop at the Syri i Kalter source, re-emergence of a turquoise blue underground river.
Guided tour of Butrint, the jewel of archaeological Albania very close to the Greek border. On this peninsula Greeks, Romans, Byzantines and Turks succeeded to each other.
Night in Saranda, the big seaside resort of the Albanian Riviera which is in full expansion.

D5 : Saranda - Albanese Riviera - Vlora - night Durrës (290km)
Discovery of the Ionian coast with its preserved Mediterranean landscapes and beautiful beaches (stop in Himara and Dhermi);
Ascent to the Llogara National Park (1000m in altitude), stop in Vlora the second port town of the country and end of afternoon arrival in Durres.

D6 : Durrës - visit of Kruja - flight Tirana/Paris (67km)
Visit of the perched city of KRUJA à 600m of altitude which dominates the whole central plain of Tirana until Durres and the sea!
The old bastion of the Albanian hero Skanderberg is today an enjoyable little town with a citadel, the most beautiful ethnographic museum in the country housed in a typical traditionnal house and the only bazaarr in Albania with its local crafts shops and bric-à-brac traders.
