LANGUAGE : Croatian is the official language. French is only spoken very little but you can communicate easily in English, German or Italian.
CLIMATE: Mediterranean : warm and dry on the coast and continental inland. Annual average temperature is 16°7.
Very sunny coast during summertime with an average water temperature of 21° which can go up to 25° in August.
YOUR SUITCASE: air regulations accept 20km by passenger. Do not forget to indicate your name and address, late and lost luggage does not only happen to others. Check your luggage insurance and eventual take an extra one.
No particular clothing compared to a Mediterranean coast trip: confotable shoes for visits, sunglasses, hat, bathing suit, sunsreen and even in the summertime a sweater for certain inland evenings.
CHANGE : KUNA is the national currency.

1 Kuna (HRK) = 0,1405 Euro (EUR).
We advise you change your money as you go as Coratian money exportations are limited, you will have to reconvert your Kunas to Euros before leaving. Credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and certain stores.
Change bureaus are in banks, post offices, travel agencies, airport and certain hotels.
GASTRONOMY:Mediterranean and oriental inspired, dishes are usually mouton based and seasoned with olives and spices.
The Dalmatian coast is known for its extremely fresh seafood. Wines are excellent and you will find local digestifs (Prosek, Loza).

OPENING HOURS Banks, post offices and stores are generally open Monday through Friday from 7AM to 8PM with an interruption in the beginning of the afternoon and Saturday mornings.
ANIMALS: Can enter Croatia with their health record and a certificate from the veterinarian confirming all vaccines are up to date. Only one pet by flight so please reserve early. Extra charge for embarkation. At hotels, if animals are accepted, an extra fee could be asked of you. Hotel classification. International classification.
PRICES: Except if other wise indicated our prices are per person and per week in EURO (with French Franc equivalent in color nest to each price). For all stay under week a majority of hotels will raise their prices approx. 20 % to 30 %.
